How Do I Redesign a Card?

Click any card in the review grid to open it in the detail view, then tap the Redesign button. You have two options:

  • Same style, new version - redesign with your existing style to get a fresh take. You'll get a different result each time.
  • Adjusted style - tweak the style description for that specific card without changing the rest of your deck. Useful if one card needs a slightly different direction.

Can I Go Back to the Previous Version?

After redesigning a card, you can revert to the previous version if you prefer the original. The revert option appears on any card that's been redesigned, and it stays available until shortly after you approve your deck.

This means you can experiment freely. Try a redesign, compare it to the original, and switch back if the first version was better.

How Many Times Can I Redesign a Card?

There's no limit. Redesign any card as many times as you need. Each redesign creates a fresh variation, which typically takes about a minute. Some cards might need two or three tries before they feel right, and that's completely normal.

Can I Change the Style for Just One Card?

Yes. When you redesign, you can adjust the style description for that individual card. The rest of your deck keeps its original style. This gives you fine-grained control over every card without starting over.

When You're Satisfied

Once every card looks right, choose a back design and then approve your deck to send it to print.
